Today was the most perfect Valentines Day I've ever had. I thought it wouldn't be too good since Josiah was up at 6am due to his bad cold. But Luke got him back to sleep and I was able to doze off for another hour before he woke for the day. When he got up Luke was kind enough to go get him out of his room and then he told Josiah "go give this to mommy." I was greeted by my little man's smiling face holding a card and some candy. Luke told me that it was the present that Josiah got for me. The card was so funny and sweet at the same time that it made me laugh and cry (of course I'm pregnant so the crying is probably due to hormones). Luke then came in with HIS present for me which was more candy and a book, which really made me happy since I've gotten into reading again lately (4 books down since Christmas).
Luke then got Josiah dressed and took him with to go to McDonalds and get me breakfast burritos. Something that I love and can never get enough of. I laid in bed listening to the silence that filled the house and proceeded to read. When they got back I got to eat breakfast in bed with my two favorite people. We then went out shopping to get some things we'd been meaning to get for a couple of weeks. The rest of the day was spend napping, lounging and watching movies.
It was nothing spectacular, but I just simply felt loved by both of my men today.
